"Please don't over exerate yourself just yet." Thomas said crouching near the ground to be at more of an eye level with the girl. "I downloaded an antivirus and to much physical or mental exertion could permanently harm you."
"it's okay Yumi, she's a friend." Julia said looking at Yumi. It took a minute, but for the first time in a while she actually smiled. Not the malicious smile she used to freak people out, but a real, friendly smile.

Kitsune looked to Yumi for a moment, then to Thomas. "Will she be fine if I just slip away, back to the Inn? I am scheduled to have more firearm practice. Besides that, tomorrow I start a surveillance mission at the R-Tax remains."

"Yeah that should be fine." Julia said not looking at Ktsune.
"Just go slowly until you're out of sight and hearing range, it will be better for her." Thomas added.

Kitsune followed Thomas's directions, going slowly for a half of a mile to be sure to be out of Yumi's hearing range, which he knew to be large.
As soon as he arrived at the inn he headed for the stairs, for his room. Kitsune was dog-tired.

Yumi watched Kitsune leave, and it felt as though her heart had been ripped out to see him do so. Turning her eyes back to Julia, she tried to smile, but nothing appeared. Prehaps, she was just tierd. Still shakey, she rose to her feet slowly. Nearly the same height as Julia, she looked up to Thomas. Then, in a meek voice, she murmered: "Can I go with you?"

"Of course, we couldn't leave you alone." Thomas said like a happy mother, glad to take in any child. Julia opened her mouth to object, but seeing her sister hug Yumi she just stayed quiet. "Goo, come on then, we'll all catch a cold if we stay out here much longer." Julia just watched as Thomas walked past her in the direction of the inn. She almost wanted to cry. She had been so happy to see her sister after such a long time, but something in her said there was something wrong, that her sister was very different. Julia just pushed the feeling aside and followed Thomas reminding herself, this is her sister she would never hurt her.
