The doors to the bar flew open as Nozomi walked in. A few curious faces, all of the patrons in the bar really, watched her tail and ears with disbelief. Ignoring their stares, Nozomi moved around to sit in a stool. "Bloody Mary, hold the juice and alcohol." The bar tender looked over to her. "But, that would only be creame?" Rolling her eyes, she watched him with a steady glare, "Works for me, now stuff it and pour it."
Sneering the bar tender did as she comanded, placing the drink before her. Then he noticed her bow and arrows. "I don't allow weapons in here." Nozomi swallowed the creame, looking up with a snarl. "So you'd make a young lady go unprotected? What if something happened, huh?" The man blinked about to respond, but instead, he shook his head and turned back to his chore of cleaning and preparing.

Shichi entered the bar and ordered a stiff drink, downing the shot in one swallow. He turned to Nozomi, whom he was sitting next to, and smiled. "AI XXX, imagine seeing you here."

Nozomi didn't even look up from her drink as she continued to sip it. Not knowing this man, or atleast, not reconizing him. Finally, when she still felt his body warmth near her, she looked up with annoyance. "Can I help you?"Still not over what had happened with that fox, she'd nearly thought the voice had belonged to him; K.I.T.S.U.N.E.

"Can you help me? Maybe. R-Tax wants the Fox Prototype, K.I.T.S.U.N.E., and we think you might have recently encountered him." He sipped his alcoholic beverage a tiny amount, not really interested in downing it because it might inhibit his thoughts and reaction time.
"Besides that, you haven't checked in with R-Tax and R-Tax is tempted to think you have gone A.W.O.L. You haven't, have you. If you have then... things might get ugly."

Then, her mind clicked as the realization came in. Off the stool in seconds, Nozomi took out her bow and latched an arrow to it in one fluid motion. "Shichi! Don't you DARE threaten me, you spineless inferior!" Her mouth twisted into a hateful snarl as she stared down into the face of her so-called affiliate. Her hand quivering as the arrow was aimed on his face, the bar tender pleading with her not to start anything; the screams of the bar members at the sight of her weapon. She ignored the citizens, having no interust in them. "If you're seriously suggesting that I would join forces with the rebel trash, then I'll kill you where you sit! And as for K.I.T.S.U.N.E, yes. I have had recent contact with him, though it's not much of a care in R-Tax's affairs."

Shichi grinned, his grin really more of a sneer. "R-Tax? R-Tax is a corporation led by scared millionaires. They'd believe anything they were told. Now, the real question is... what will we tell them?" Shichi turned to the bartender and ordered a glass of milk. Shichi loved milk.
"Now, there is an experimental process for returning the modified into humans. We want K.I.T.S.U.N.E. so that we can experiment on him. We want to check this on an adult and a child, and K.I.T.S.U.N.E. seems to be both. Why not check two with one stone? Now, there is the problem of him being two synthesized humans and a fox, but we think the procedure will separate him. Well, that or kill him. The fact is, you saw him last and we want him. Where did you see him and in which direction did he run?"

She hessitated. She knew where their hideout was.. But did she dare reviel it? Instead, she relaxed her weapon, realising the bar was empty- even the bartender had run off, she stood and watched the clock. What should she do? Why couldn't she just TELL the damned guy and get on with her life. What was holding her back? Surely not an affection for K.I.T.S.U.N.E... But.. "If R-Tax wants him, THEY can hunt him down. You included." She turned and made to leave. But, just as she placed her hand on the door, her mind clicked. So, they were in contact with her after all, R-Tax that was. With a grin, she soon realised her confersation wasn't so candid after all. Opening the door, she spoke quietly. "Might wanna check the Inn for thingyroaches..." And she was gone. Into the night.

They weren't in an inn, they were in a bar. Why would she have said 'Inn'? Maybe the Kokoromi were in an inn. Shichi sent the information off to his partner at R-Tax. Soon they would sent covert operatives who didn't look like they were hybrid into every inn in the city, open or not. They would see if what Nozomi had said was a slip of the tongue or a deliberate clue.
Shichi stood from where he sat. "Alright, guys," he said to the apparently empty room, "You can come out from hiding now." Instantly, at least twenty R-Tax operatives came out of their hiding places and into the open. "Let's return to base. We have work to do that might give us not only K.I.T.S.U.N.E., but all of the defectors."
With that, Shichi left the bar.
